Scarboro SLSC has been part of the Western Australia community for 90 years and patrols one of the nation’s most magnificent yet most dangerous beaches in Western Australia. As a community organisation we welcome members of the LGBTI+ community who are interested in surf life saving and surf sports, as well as developing life skills to take back into the community.
If you’d like to join, there is NO requirement to have any experience in surf life saving before, although being able to swim is a requirement, our Club is open to people of all sexual orientations and genders identities.
We run three surf life saving Bronze Medallion Courses each season, our next one commencing in early August 2017, then October 2017 and finally January 2018
Check us out on Facebook or contact Jody Ballard, Vice-President for more information on what’s involved in surf life saving and on how to get involved at Scarboro SLSC.
